Yesterday I was blessed with the opportunity to watch 5.16, "Dark Side of the Moon," on TNT. The scene near the end, where the angel Joshua tells the Winchesters that God knows what's going on and isn't going to do anything and wants them to stop bugging him… well, it hits harder in light of what we learn about Chuck at the end of s14, doesn't it? Some of the best episodes (IMHO) of the series are in here, but I imagine watching The End, and being completely blown away, and then next week you get… Fallen Idols? Paris Hilton? Seriously? stir_of_echoes was kind enough to make GIFs for part of Sympathy for the Devil (5.01) for me. ( Go. Look. It is awesome and heartbreaking.) And it turns out I have a lot of thoughts about this. To me, it is one of the saddest scenes in the entire series. And that’s saying a lot.
